For classes visiting Geneva

One of Geneva's assets on a global scale is its ability to welcome a very large number of international actors. The Eduki Foundation offers visits, meetings and presentations of International Geneva for classes to discover some of the main organizations during their visits.

Behind the Scenes of International Relations

Elèves dans la salle des EAU

Did you know that Geneva is the world's leading center in terms of the concentration of international cooperation actors? 37 international organizations are present such as World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and World Trade Organization (WTO). Debates and decisions made in Geneva have a direct impact on our daily lives in different areas: humanitarian aid, human rights defense, weather forecasting, copyright law, innovation, international trade, phone use, nature conservation, and vaccine regulation.

It is in Geneva that ….

  • more than 2.7 million international patent applications are filed at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO),
  • the UN Human Rights Council meets 10 weeks a year to urge states to implement human rights around the world,
  • the web was created more than 30 years ago by CERN ( the European Organization for Nuclear Research) where the key issues of cybersecurity are now playing out.

According to the availability of the class, the Eduki Foundation offers 3 modules to visit International Geneva and to discover this important sector for Switzerland.
