SDG workshop
This activity aims to give young people and teachers the opportunity to discover and understand the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through a workshop adapted to the student's level.
Sustainable development is everyone's business!
In September 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 universal goals to be achieved by 2030: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Ending extreme poverty, eliminating hunger, fighting inequality and injustice, better managing natural resources, addressing climate change: these are some of the challenges that need to be addressed together. Although states are the main actors in the 2030 Agenda, the participation of all actors in society - local authorities, the private sector, civil society and citizens - is essential for its implementation here and globally.
We all have a role to play. Participate in an SDG workshop to find out which one!
Procedure
1. Presentation of the 17 SDGs and their context.
2. Students associate objects with different SDGs and demonstrate their understanding of the theme.
3. Debate around the issues of the game Sustainable Development Geek : separated in two teams, students prepare arguments in favour of one of the two answers. They then defend their point of view before an audience that votes for the best speaker.
4. Further study on one or more themes, to be continued by the teacher.

The game "SDGeek"
This card game will help students to become familiar with the 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs. It aims to broaden their horizons through issues related to sustainable development. This game is available in French, German, Italian and English.
The SDGeek game was developed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (DDC) of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and is available on their website.
Preparation
